The Road to Eating Whatever I Want
For decades, I like many people, was a victim of emotional attachments to food. These attachments were the driving force in my decisions about what to eat and what not to eat. Today, however, I am no longer a victim of food and my emotions. I eat what I want, when I want and how much I want, and I have never felt healthier or better. Here is how I did it.
#1 Learned to Hear My Body’s Voice
For years my mind and emotions served as my body’s dietary voice. The first step in gaining freedom in eating was not only in learning my body had a voice but learning to trust it. This was the transition that would change my eating habits forever.
#2 Learned to Doublecheck My Body’s Voice
Learning to respect and listen to my body’s voice took practice. I accelerated this process with muscle testing, a technique based on the ancient practices of acupuncture and eastern healing. Muscle testing allows you to determine what your body actually wants to eat and is a great tool to help tune out emotional eating. It is a quick, easy mechanism to take the brain out of the equation and to simply listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Muscle testing is utilized by many natural health practitioners around the world and it is something people can easily do themselves. Watch this video to learn how you can muscle test at home.
